Hey, how are you?

Fine.

You don’t seem fine, is everything ok?

Yeah. Fine.

As things get kinda sorta slammed around. There’s huge tension in the air….

You have no idea what you did, or didn’t say or do, or what the hell is wrong.

Ever happen in your household? I’m sure it has and as it turns out it usually is due to miscommunication. Simple as that.

Well, guess what? It happens with your dog all the time too. You feel like a broken record with NO, NO, NO and same behavior, only your dog isn’t mad at you over it. They just have a feeling everything means no!

Good news. There’s a way to stop all of that and I made a video to show you! *even better news, the concept works with people too! : )

So to recap.

  • Don’t just say NO. To your dog, to anyone. Be clear about what you are communicating.
  • With dogs it’s usually an action you want them to do.
  • Name the action when your dog is doing it.
  • Don’t leave things unsaid or name the action incorrectly and then expect your dog (or your person) to know what you want.

No, be quiet. No, stop jumping with no follow through on what you want is like a constant nag. Nothing changes. And you’re still irritated as all get out!

See how much of this applies to our relationships with people too?
